My name is Suzanne Passero. I live in Advance with my son, John who attends Forsyth Tech and my pack of dogs. My late husband, Nick, and I also have two grown daughters, Alyssa, a nursing student in Arizona; and Elaina, a biological/environmental engineering grad student in Colorado. I love dogs and anything that flies, especially airplanes and birds.
Previously, I taught science in public schools, Heritage Academy Homeschool Coop and served as administrator for CE. Currently, I tutor math and science at Calvary Day School and biology and chemistry at CE. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from UNCG with a BA in Biology and earned my science teaching certificate in biology with a chemistry endorsement. Studying science has drawn me closer to God. I am in awe of our Creator and all He has made. I can’t wait to share that passion with my students.
This inspires me: “Listen to this, Job; stop and consider God’s wonders. Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes his lightning flash? Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of Him who has perfect knowledge?”
